Game Preview – Kings vs Penguins

Funny pic of Moreau and Niskanan fighting – en guard!

I didn’t write the after notes from the game on Friday for Kings vs Oilers because it was too painful.  But today is a new day! A new game! A new opportunity to not get shut out!

Penguins are 3rd in the league right now and we are 12th.  Crosby is still not on the team but Malkin is playing and the thing about the Pens are they play with grit and heart. They don’t need no stinking superstars! They are like the Bad News Bears. The underdog does good…sigh.

Hammond had a few quotes from the Kings on what they can do to bring the scoring. Wiliams felt the D should be more active and Richards thought the Kings should just stick with what they are doing now. Personally, I think they need to continue to keep it below the hashmarks and cycle the puck. This generates scoring chances and its best to keep the puck in their zone and not ours. Just my opinion. The Kings have too many good players to be a sucky team. We have superstars. It’s time to show what we’ve got, The Time is Now.

I’m going to the game tonight so I’ll take pictures (hopefully).
