Anyway, hubbypat and I usually use our game nights as an opportunity to go out to dinner and tonight we were going to hit Flemings. Now I’m wondering if I should just cook before? ARGH!!!!! This is upsetting my carefully scheduled game night!
Lets talk Wild. As of this morning, Minnesota is in 12th place and we are in 17th. The Wild have a lot of good players and their stats closely resemble our own. If they are around the same state-wise as us, why are they 5 spots higher in the league standings?
* Kings are in 23rd place with 2.3 goals per game. Wild is in 28th place with 2.1 goals per game. We are slightly better.
* Kings are 6th overall with 2.3 goals against and the Wild is in first place with 1.9 goals against. Wild is better, but not by a wide margin.
* Both Kings and Wild are almost the same in Penalty Kill % with Kings at 13th place and 84.4 % and Wild 14th place and 82.5 %.
* Kings Power Play is 8th and the Wild is 27th! We win big time on this one.
So why are they ahead? Does it really come down to the coach? Chemistry? Goalies? This is game 17. Enough games to gauge how the team is going to play the rest of the season. I’ll let it go until 20 and then we either are doing better and on our way, or we are still sucking and changes will have to be made.

So am at work today and customer comes up with suck duck hat on. After giving my ‘are you serious’ glare, and showing him my Royal Crown (Xmas ornament turnrd necklace )..I said ,”well at least you like hockey “. He says’I really have no comeback for that’. Said he was at their game vs Vancouver. And complained about those ‘bandwsgeoners’ . They really are an obnoxious bunch by anyone’s standards..even the suck fans. Just thought I would
pass along.

Fun game tonight – It was weird seeing all those tents out on the street. Kings fans were yelling ” twilight sucks!” and the twilight fans got really mad! LOL! it was so funny!
