Of course Hayward is in the front. LOL! This idea came from my hubbypat and I watching the Ducks vs Vancouver game and having a few beers and well, you know, the more fun we had at the Duck’s and Canuck’s expense as the night wore on. A few examples from hubbypat:

HP: Why are the Suck’s fans wearing Xmas sweaters? That is…I don’t know.
HP: Why are the Suck’s fans wearing button down brown shirts? Steve Butabi, Dave Butabi.
HP: Lube Me Up Visnovsky!
HP: The Sedin Twins look like aliens. (in Arnold voice) I am a clone of your clone!
HP: Really hard to watch Vancouver-Ducks game. Harder than my d*** could ever be.
God, I love him! LOL
Freeway Face-off rivalry starts tonight with the 1st of 6 games this season. Tomorrow will be game 2 of our back-to-back games
The Kings have 19 pts and the Ducks have 15. The Kings are in 17th place in the league and the Ducks are in 26th place. Tonight should be a lot of fun as the Sucks have been sucking and will come out really wanting to beat us. We will have to play fast and hopefully like last game, come out shooting. We can take them easily if we take more shots on goal.
Kopitar leaves the ducks in the dust
The Ducks have Lubo Visnovsky and Parros out of the lineup due to injuries. That is good for us. If Parros was in, Murray would most likely add Westgarth to our lineup. And Lubo is really good against us as well. But with both of those players out, Murray will stick with a more offensive 4th line with Moreau – Frasier – Lewis. I really liked what I saw of Frasier at the Wild game. This line can do damage.
With Alec Martinez and Dustin Penner out, Loktionov and Voynov were brought up. Lokti is usually a center, but will play LW on the second line and Slava will pair with Mitchell. They had good chemistry together when Drew was out so putting them back together is the right move. This puts Drew with JMFJ which from previous times playing together, it could go either way. I’m a little confused and yet anticipating seeing Scuderi and Greene together. Both are more stay at home D-men. Could be a total shut down against the Ducks.
Clifford can step up with Westgarth out.

Tracy feel free to cut and paste this if you posted an after game post.. in bug hurry this morning.. this was my post to S&S after the Wednesday game..
And while here.. thought the Thursday game better.. GREAT Job by the Boys in enemy territory.. Better chemistry.. better play.. some cool looking goals.. with top nothc set ups..
And I loved the empty netter by Mikey! Knew as soon as he started to spin around he would have it.. right on target.. He is the best addition we could ever hope for.. What a losss for Philly.. can feel their pain every time I watch him play.

Exactly right..2 Good Periods..still a nightmare trying to get a puck in the friggin net! Sometimes that net looks like it eemt down the rabbit hole ..shrinking to croquet size. If we could connect some of those beautiful passes to the intended just 13% more we would have some nice goals!
We sat back in the third..in our defensive shell? and as has been our pattern, we cannot hold the lead for the last 5 minutes of the game.
WHY WHY WHY?????
So we won the shootout ..yay Stollie..back on track..but should not have given those sucks a point.
