We are 18 games into the L.A. Kings hockey season, and I have a few comments about the game last night against the Anaheim Ducks, and well, a couple of other important items. As a newbie (NOOB), I take my chances commenting on such things, but I’ll be brave. Here goes anyway.
First, the game last night against the Anaheim Ducks would surely give any human being high blood pressure. The game was tied at 1-1 and neither team scored in overtime (although the game grew exciting near the end). Then the two teams had a crazy shoot- out, battling back and forth with the Kings’ Jarrett Stoll scoring first, and then Ryan Getzlaf fighting back for the Ducks, and finally Justin Williams brought home the 2-1 win for our boys.
Phew!
Tonight they’ll do it all over again against the Ducks, this time on their home ice, which should be fun.
The only goal scored by the Kings last night during regular play was by Mike Richards. Right after he scored, I of course started chanting his name, and I suddenly remembered a similar name from my childhood in Montreal – Maurice “Rocket” Richard. I immediately thought, hey, are these guy related? I think they look alike! – or – well, maybe not. I see a definite resemblance in the hairline though, don’t you?

grrr.. you know how I feel about links!
they do look alike. One has an S at the end, but if it didn’t, I would think they were related too.
Lol on the AK. Hunter is AK, Hiller is the goalie with Anaheim. Good job on figuring out the other acronyms. They can get confusing.

LOL! oops. Hunter not HIller, I knew that!
At first I did not think they looked alike, but after looking at it for a while, they look more and more alike.
