Game Preview – Kings vs Montreal

Posted on December 3, 2011 by

Bernier is in net today against Montreal in our only meeting this season. Can you tell Bernier was born in Montreal?

The Kings are without Mike Richards today who leads the team with 11 goals. He was hit in the head by Florida’s Bergenheim Thursday night and went on the injured-reserve list with an upper-body injury that is a concussion. The Kings lineup will also miss Mitchell as he was hurt with a lower body injury in the same game and is not back yet.

Richards’s spot  will be filled by Dustin Penner, who returns after missing nine games with a broken finger. Voynov will stay on the team for a little while longer and Drewski will play as well.

This is the final game of a three game road trip for the Habs. They only received one point so far and will be looking to win today. Kings will have to come out strong and stay strong. No  third period naps.
