Game Preview – Kings vs Sharks

I’ve been shopping and cooking all day and almost couldn’t get to this preview. I’ve got a ton more cooking to do tonight, so this will be short and sweet.

This is the third of six meetings between the Kings and Sharks. We each have a win previously. The Sharks have 39 points to our 36 but have been on a shooting spree the last three games with a combined 15 goals. It will be fun to see Sutter tonight against his old team. He coached San Jose for 6  seasons under Dean Lombardi.

Few Notes:

• Sutter said “this isn’t baseball” when asked who the starting goalie is. He declined to answer. What does that mean? I think it means “f-off” lol.
• We see our old friend Handzus will play tonight. We missed him as he was off the last time we met.
• Bernier was the only goalie on the ice today but that could mean he is resting Quick for tonight. Not sure
