We play Phoenix tonight and they are right on our tail with just a mere two points between us. If we lose tonight, we move to 8th place and Phoenix takes our established 7th place in the Western Conference. Phoenix Coyotes have climbed into eighth place in the West with a one-point lead in the final playoff spot. Remember last season? Yup, here we go again. All of us bunched up with just a point or two between us and probably tied up until the end of the season.
We hoped when this season started we would not have to go through it again. With the news that Nash is on the market and LA is in the running for him, well, its never been more obvious that we need that missing goal scoring piece now. No time to wait until after the season. I know DL is trying on this one. Hopefully he can complete it sooner rather than later. I’m also good with Carter. In many ways, I may actually like the Carter trade rumors to LA better than Nash. Goal scorer with less salary would not have us give away as much as if it were Nash. And you know the poor fool is going to dive on goals scored as soon as the Kings get ahold of him…that wasn’t nice of me.

- Mike Smith will play in goal for the Coyotes
- Kings are 3-0-1 vs Coyotes this season
- Kings have a 68% chance of making the playoffs as of noon pst.
- Gagne and Stoll both skated today in a no-contact practice

Yeah mean..like he would fit in with those extreme fighting animals..I was just telling GF it is weird how I don’t mind Hockey players fighting as I am not a fan of any kind of violence ..but maybe because they mostly don’t do much damage, and I did grow up on it. Same with the hits into the board..long as no heads are involved.
