Filling in for Tracykingslover is not an easy task. However here’s a brief observation about game 2. There have been quite a few statements from reporters, bloggers and officials regarding tonight’s game. First they had to dissect Saturday’s game. Today they are predicting, speculating and dare I say, announcing the winner of tonight’s game. All that is good as it gets our juices flowing in anticipation. The bottom line though, is no one knows how the game will play out. But, we’ll be watching and waiting for the passes, slapshots, the goaltending and hoping for a win. What joyous fun!
A great stat that we heard is the Kings so far have won every road game. All 3 in Vancouver and now one in St. Louis. We split with Vancouver at home in Round 1. It definitely will be a huge benefit to the Kings to win this game tonight. In order for the Kings to win tonight, they will have to tough as nails. The Blues will try to put the hurt on our boys tonight and the Kings need to stay out of the penalty box. If we can accomplish that than we can push the Blues off their game and hopefully come away with a win.
We also have some interesting young players to learn about. The Kings have officially called up 10 players from Manchester and 1 player from the Ontario Hockey League. Rich Hammond posted the names and numbers on lakingsinsider.com. These players will not be joining the team in the playoffs on the ice, (unless a player is injured) but will be able to observe the Kings during the playoffs and hopefully get some experience. We’ll be watching for them!
FORWARDS: Andy Androff (64), Justin Azevedo (62), Marc-Andre Cliche (67), Rich Clune (56), Tyler Toffoli (73) and Linden Vey (57).
DEFENSEMEN: Andrew Campbell (81) Thomas Hickey (37), Patrick Mullen (59) and Jake Muzzin (6)
GOALIE: Martin Jones (31).
Here’s the lineup for tonight’s game.

Great preview there. This game isn’t going to be an easy one. Hitch making some line changes says he’s a bit concerened. That’s a good thing.
Nice to see all those guys getting called up to see what it’s like up in th big league.

Oh Boy are we going to see a rough game tonight! But I say the Blues should go for it. The more upset they are the more they go off their game

actually we were talking during the game, lol. Great game! I had a revelation – if we win 2 more games out of the 4, we go to the conference finals! OMG!
I’ll try to write something today. Really upset on the announcers – that needs to be addressed.

Oh yes, those bloody announcers. How I miss Fox and Miller. About the conference finals; I can’t imagine who we would be playing. I’ve been watching the other playoff games and can’t decide who has the best goalie, defense etc. Help a girl out here.
GO KINGS!!!

IF we beat the Blues – my prediction is Phoenix vs Kings. They are great players and have been ruling the playoffs. That would be a great series. In the regular season, we split the series 3-3
