Johnathan Quick has agreed to a 10 year, 58 million dollar contract with the Los Angeles Kings starting with the 2013-2014 season. To say the Kings fans are happy is a huge understatement.
We have a great goalie!! We have a great goalie!! Our goalie is better than yours!!
Take a deep breath. The team we have been waiting all these years for is here. We won the cup and it looks like we will be a contender for a long time.

I’m very happy about this. There were just sooooooo many years the Kings had bad goalies and now we have a great one and now we get to keep him. Some say its risky, but even if something happens later on, the Cap hit will in crease and we will be able to take this one anyway.
But I dont anticipate that happening. I think we have a long journey of season wins ahead of us.

I’m real happy to see DL tying up these guys for the long run. Glad to see that Quick has decided to continue being the backbone behind this team.

Been reading some followups to Quicks 10 yr signing. Have to laugh at so many who are worried. Hahaha, some people act like the money’s coming out of their pockets. Something a person learns later on in life, if you don’t take a gamble at times, you lose out big time. Those big risks are the ones that pay off. Ask any wealthy person. Besides, noone knows what’s in store for their life a year or two down the road. Go for it! Deano did. Love it
