Two things I wanted to put up for all to see in case you were not aware.  One is the ordering of a personalized “star” to be placed at Staples Center and the other is Kings night at Dodger Stadium.

The L.A. Kings Star must be ordered by August 17, 2012 and it will be displayed at the Figueroa and 11th street doors. This is a great way for our out-of-town fans to be a part of the Kings and their Championship season. You can write what you want on the star whether it’s your family name or a congrats to the Kings.  All proceeds to benefit the Kings Care Foundation and STAPLES Center Foundation. Be creative! :

From the LA Kings website – Each star is a $500 donation and includes a keepsake replica star for you to proudly display in your home or office.  Replicas are made of the same material and inscribed with the same personal message as your installed star. Each replica comes with a commemorative plaque adhered to the face symbolizing your contribution to the STAPLES Center.

Another fun event is Kings Night at Dodger Stadium. This is Friday night August 24, 2012 and the tickets are part of a great package including a seat, all-you-can-eat Pavilion and a pre-game autograph session for $39.50. The section is in the right field Pavilion and also includes a free Kings/Dodger scarf. I think it has the Dodgers on one side and the Kings on the other.

Even though the season is over and the new one has not started yet does not mean that you can’t have your cake and eat it too! So keep involved with the team at these great events that pop up around town. Also remember to follow the cup and it may just come in your area for you to take picture with and leave a kiss!
